Robus Industrial was founded in 1995 by Hennie Jansen van Rensburg. Our main line is the production of first generation recycled PE100 pellets for distribution to various SABS Pipe Manufacturers. We process roughly 300 tons a month which is distributed to various SABS pipe manufacturers. All materials are lab tested to ensure favorable MFI and OIT results. Certificates are issued for each batch. Further extensions allowed for the recycling of bottle grade plastics. This process allows us to enter the market by supplying good quality HDPE materials to various markets such as non-SABS pipe manufacturers, HDPE extrusion grade and Injection grade markets. Robus Industrial manufactures a range of hose clamps for the farming and engineering industries. These clamps are used on pressure hoses and are ideally suited for heavy duty applications. Stainless steel clamps are ideally suited for applications where high resistance to corrosion is required. Development of the plant proved to be very complex and is still ongoing today. Every tool for the manufacturing process had to be custom made. Presently production is running smoothly, and we boast a healthy turnover - despite the current recession times. Our product line was expanded with the manufacture of borehole pump rods. Boreholes may be constructed for many different purposes, including extraction of water, which allows us to supply borehole pump rods mainly to the agricultural sector.
